Microsoft COMPUTEX Annual Keynote on June 3rd to present new opportunities with Windows 10

COMPUTEX Taipei, the annual global IT industry event, officially kicks off on June 2nd. This year marks Microsoft’s 13th annual presence at COMPUTEX, and the company teams up with its hardware partners to display an array of innovative devices on 4F, Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall (booth no.: L0110).

These innovations include smartphones, tablets, notebooks, gaming, all-in-one and IoT devices. Five major scenarios (Home/ Entertainment, Productivity, Education, Retail, Security/ Manageability) are displayed to demonstrate the rich new experiences that Windows 10 can provide in different applications.

Nick Parker, Corporate Vice President of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Division at Microsoft, will serve as keynote speaker again this year. In his speech, titled “Windows Enables New Devices and Experiences”, Parker will discuss Microsoft strategy and how Windows 10 delivers new business opportunities to the ecosystem.

He will show a range of the latest innovations from our hardware partners and unveil some new Windows 10 devices coming to market later this year. Tony Prophet, corporate vice president, Windows and Search Marketing, will join Parker to talk about Windows 10 and how we’re continuing to drive excitement and demand, and Roanne Sones, general manager, Windows Engineering, will demo rich new experiences that Windows 10 enables across a range of scenarios.

In addition to Windows 10, Microsoft will also showcase a wide range of related products and services that deliver differentiated value, including Microsoft Edge, cross-platform services, Universal Apps, Sway, and Office 365 which were launched and demonstrated at the Microsoft Build Developer Conference this April.
